Babywearing International of Birmingham is a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote babywearing as a universally accepted practice, with benefits for both child and caregiver, through education and support. As a part of this initiative, we have coordinated with First Light Women's and Children Shelter located in Birmingham to educate the staff of First Light to become babywearing facilitators, so they may instruct their guests with the benefits of babywearing.

Proceeds benefit First Light Center for Homeless Women & Children

Free for the whole family to attend.

Fashion Show:

Models will be wearing the hottest trends in babywearing, from practical everyday to evening out.

$5 DIY Sling Table:

Bring Five dollars and take home an organic wrap, that you can snuggle up with your little one.

Babywearing Consults:

Have a question about a paticular sling or any questions about babywearing? Get them answered today.

Kid Activities:

Kindermusik by the Pink House will lead everyone in drum circles through out the day.
